At Scalp Micro SD, we perform Scalp micropigmentation on all skin types and colors. Scalp micropigmentation (or SMP for short), is a medical, non-surgical, cosmetic tattoo that gives the illusion of a close buzz cut hairstyle on a bald head or adds density to a thinning hair line.

Alex’s being a licensed micropigmentation artist is the result of years of training and experience in the field. He has undergone rigorous training to become a certified and licensed micropigmentation artist, and continues to hone his craft by staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and techniques. His passion for micropigmentation is evident in every treatment he performs, as he works tirelessly to achieve the best possible results for his clients.

With 10 years of experience in the beauty and PMU industry, she always had a passion for beauty and the arts and when she decided to pursue permanent cosmetics it was a match made! Education is very important to her which is why she is considered one of the select PRO Trainers and the only endorsed artist in San Diego due to her outstanding work and teachings. She and her husband Alex established PIGMENT with the intention of providing quality work and education to help grow the next generation of upcoming artists, whether they be beginners or advanced.
